Jürgen Butsmann is part of the Global Business Development team for SAP S/4HANA, and is responsible for the go-to-market (GTM) of SAP S/4HANA in the EMEA region(s). He ensures that this new innovation is picked up by all markets units of SAP EMEA and acts as a solution evangelist with customers and partners. In conjunction with the development organization he works on the future strategy and roadmap of SAP S/4HANA. This includes the positioning and messaging of the solution. In particular, Jürgen heads the GTM of the analytics solutions inside SAP S/4HANA (SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics) and positioning with related solutions (e.g. SAP analytics suite and enterprise data warehousing, including SAP HANA and SAP BW/4HANA).
Jürgen joined SAP in 1997 as consultant for SAP EC EIS, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP SEM, and SAP EPM. In 2012 he took over solution ownership of SAP HANA Live and the SAP Smart Business cockpit as part of solution management of the SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA. He joined the business development team for SAP S/4HANA in 2016. He is based out of SAP Headquarters in Walldorf, Germany.
Jürgen studied industrial engineering and management (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at the University of Karlsruhe (TH) and has a Diplom Wirtschaftsingenieur.
Thomas Fleckenstein is the chief product owner of SAP S/4HANA analytics. He has shaped and evangelized the concept of embedded analytics in SAP cloud solutions such as SAP Business ByDesign and SAP S/4HANA Cloud. He joined SAP in 1999 as a developer for analytics business content for the SAP Business Warehouse. In 2004, he became product manager for analytics in SAP Business ByDesign. As of 2011, he works in the SAP Business Suite, and has worked with SAP S/4HANA since 2014.
Thomas frequently presents on analytics-related topics at SAP TechEd in the US and Europe. His team is developing the SAP Smart Business KPI and reports features in SAP S/4HANA, which are also available in other products such as SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform. Thomas holds a diploma in business and administration from the University of Mannheim, Germany.
Anirban Kundu is a program director for SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics enablement at SAP. He has more than 17 years of experience across multiple roles including product management, corporate strategy, and consulting, and is currently supporting several strategic customer implementations for embedded analytics, including one for Siemens. Previously, he worked as solution architect for analytics at Nestle in Vevey, Switzerland. He worked on the SAP Fiori and SAP Business Suite on SAP HANA developments and was the product owner for SAP Smart Business and the SAP Fiori apps reference library. He has played a key role in customer adoption and scaling knowledge across the SAP partner ecosystem. He has conducted more than 30 workshops about SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics for customers and partners across the US, EMEA, and APJ.
Anirban joined SAP as a solution manager for manufacturing and supply chain analytics. Later, he moved to the Retail IBU supporting development of demand management solutions and relocated to SAP Walldorf as part of the SAP portfolio and strategy team. He has been a passionate advocate of enterprise analytics and has more than 14 years of experience building analytical application across range of technology and application areas. He is an avid blogger and has written several blogs on IoT and intelligent enterprises.
He received his MBA from IIM Bangalore and his B.Tech. in chemical engineering from IIT Bombay. He has also completed an immersion program at KAIST Business School, Seoul, South Korea.
