Mercedes Barrachina
Mercedes Barrachina is SAP innovation lead for IBM Security and has been in that role since 2018. She has an MSc in telecommunications engineering from the University of Malaga, she developed her master thesis in the German Aerospace Center (DLR), she has a BSc and a PhD in economics, and she has completed several SAP training courses: SAP Process Control and Risk Management, SAP Fraud Management, SAP Access Control, and SAP HANA. She is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and an SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BusinessObjects Access Control 10.0. She has led SAP projects in many different countries, including the UAE, Japan, Russia, and Peru.
Mercedes has hands-on experience managing and implementing multiple SAP solutions, such as SAP GRC, SAP Audit Management, SAP Fraud Management, SAP Enterprise Threat detection, and more. She works with multiple customers in the security space, sharing her experiences and expertise. She is based in Madrid and enjoys playing tennis and travelling.
