In this four-day course, expert Uğur Hasdemir guides participants through every step of the asset accounting lifecycle, from essential configuration settings and master data, through reporting and legacy asset migration. Explore how the Universal Journal organizes your asset data, link postings to your business logic, deploy key reports, and troubleshoot common errors. Learn how to handle assets from acquisition to retirement with system demos and best practice-based insights. In this course you will learn:
- Set up core master data like asset classes, number ranges, and screen layouts
- Create, use, move, and retire fixed assets
- Calculate and post asset values during depreciation, valuation, and closing
- Migrate legacy fixed assets into SAP S/4HANA
Prerequisite: Attendees should have a basic understanding of SAP finance concepts, such as company codes, general ledger accounts, and cost centers. Additionally, participants should be familiar with fixed asset acquisiton, depreciation, and retirement.
